Mathilde Gilhet, native of France, began her training at Ballet du Nord before joining the Centre Choregraphique National of Carolyn Carlson in Roubaix, France three years later. She danced professionally with Ballet Junior de Geneve (Switzerland), Alias Company (Switzerland), Quorum Ballet (Portugal), and is currently dancing with FluxFlow Dance Project. Over the course of her career, she worked with renowned choreographers Alexander Ekman, Gustavo Ramirez Sensano, Lucinda Childs, Andonis Foniadakis, Itzik Galili, and Rui Horta among others. She has performed and given workshops internationally and in 2018 was invited to create work at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in partnership with the French Embassy in Portugal and the National Ballet of Portugal. She is a judge internationally for dance competitions, a passionate teacher, and Head of Contemporary dance at Flux + Flow Dance and Movement Center.
